The Kaweco Sport piston filler is available as a starter set for ready-to-use application with a 32ml ink bottle in royal blue or as a pure writing instrument without additional ink.

The Piston Sport AL series is getting a splash of colour: Just in time for winter, our metallic piston fountain pen is sporting a cool new look. The blue anodized finish of the robust aluminum barrel is extremely durable and gives the pen a premium feel. It harmonizes beautifully with the gold accents, lending the writing instrument a particularly elegant character. The perfect balance between weight and diameter of the piston fountain pen also ensures that your hand won't tire, even after extended writing sessions.

Kaweco's history dates back to 1883. Over time, there have been many different systems for filling fountain pens. While ink cartridges are now the most common, the piston mechanism allows the ink to be drawn directly from the bottle into the pen's integrated ink chamber. This makes our Sport Piston Filler obsolete.

The transparent ink window allows you to monitor the ink level at all times. If the ink runs out, the piston fountain pen can be easily and quickly refilled thanks to its exceptionally smooth filling mechanism. This filling system also allows the use of inks in an unparalleled variety of colors, as many ink colors are only available in glass bottles.

The Kaweco Sport piston fountain pen is the smallest of its kind thanks to its ingenious and compact mechanism, which maximizes the ratio of pen size to ink capacity. This iconic pocket fountain pen measures just 10.5 cm when closed and expands to a standard length of 13 cm with the cap posted. Its small size makes it ideal for use on the go and ensures a long and enjoyable writing experience.

The fountain pen is available with a gold-plated steel nib in five nib widths, from extra-fine (EF) to extra-broad (BB). The 190 nib unit can also be easily replaced later. Presented in an elegant round tin with a classic Kaweco design, the Kaweco Piston Sport AL Navy makes an ideal gift for the Christmas season.
