It all began in 1883 in a small shop near Heidelberg University. It was already possible to purchase the Kaweco iron gall ink at this early stage. Over the years, the ink and the writing instruments developed further, but the quality remains the top priority.

Kaweco ink is compatible with any type of fountain pen. Their converters in three sizes and numerous colours are particularly suitable for using the high-quality Kaweco inks from the ink glass. Converters are a type of reusable cartridge and are, therefore, incredibly sustainable.
