Many of his works received numerous awards and are considered iconic in the design world. Wettest, who passed away in 2008, created designs governed by the combination of functionality and aesthetics, making it fit seamlessly into Lamy's Bauhaus style. For the LAMY Studio, the designer chose calm forms in combination with exceptional details. With this piece, he succeeded in a new interpretation of the classic fountain pen motive.

The LAMY Studio's characteristic, a polished metal clip is an eye-catcher. The clip is gently twisted, thus making this writing instrument a work of art in design yet still perfect for daily use. That's why it is still today a truly distinguishing feature and the highlight of the LAMY studio.
